Artistry, performance, and refinement from an intriguing range of métiers all converged for an exclusive VIP celebration at the Chopard boutique in Vancouver, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Hosted by Global Watch Company, fifty distinguished guests were welcomed into a curated evening that united the worlds of haute horology, high jewellery, Italian automotive mastery, and champagne savoir-faire.

Champagne Artistry with La Grande Dame
The evening opened with pours of La Grande Dame 2015 by Veuve Clicquot, a vintage of rare precision and grace. Crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay, this cuvée embodies both vitality and elegance, its floral notes and mineral freshness unfolding into subtle accents of brioche and candied fruit. With more than 15 years of aging potential, La Grande Dame was a toast perfectly attuned to the evening’s themes of creativity and celebration.

Design in Motion
Alberni Street transformed into a stage for Italian performance and design, as five Ferrari icons—Purosangue, 12 Cilindri, Roma Spider, F8 Tributo, and 458 Italia—commanded attention with their unmistakable presence. Each model represented the virtuosity of Italian engineering, creating an open-air gallery that evoked the power and elegance of the marque.

Chopard’s World of Creations
Inside the boutique, the evening turned to the world of Chopard’s exquisite craft and inspiration. Guests were invited to discover the Maison’s latest creations unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2025 this past April, in Geneva, Switzerland:
L’Heure du Diamant Collection, dazzling timepieces where diamonds reveal their fullest brilliance.
Happy Diamonds Collection, joyful icons of freedom and movement, animated by Chopard’s signature floating diamonds.
High Jewellery Creations, one-of-a-kind masterpieces, blending virtuosity with poetry in design.
The showcase reaffirmed Chopard’s dual mastery of haute horology and high jewellery, a dialogue between tradition and innovation, timelessness and modern allure.
The presence of Jean-Baptiste Maillard, CEO of Chopard Americas, imbued the evening with additional resonance. His leadership continues to extend Chopard’s legacy across the Americas, and his presence in Vancouver underscored both the city’s importance and Global Watch Company’s role as a trusted custodian of the world’s most prestigious maisons.

The evening at Chopard Vancouver was a celebration of craftsmanship and heritage— an expression of Global Watch Company’s role as the city’s premier luxury destination. While uniting exceptional watchmaking, high jewellry, and refined experiences, GWC provided guests with rare access to global leaders from revered artisan disciplines, culminating as an occasion marked by a spirit of passion and timeless elegance.
