As the city prepares to welcome the annual Mid-Autumn Festival, a time marked by luminous skies, shared tables, and traditions felt across Vancouver, TUDOR Boutique Global Watch Company was proud to invite guests to a special evening that carried its own sense of occasion. Its boutique on Alberni Street served as the exclusive stage for the Canadian debut of TUDOR’s 1926 Luna, the maison’s first watch to feature a moon phase complication.
A live DJ set the rhythm for the evening, while patrons enjoyed the Red Clover Club, a cocktail created for the event, its bright red a subtle reference to TUDOR’s emblem. The timing of the 1926 Luna reveal carried its own significance. In Chinese tradition, the Mid Autumn Festival celebrates reunion beneath the full moon, a fitting backdrop for the special reveal that was developed in collaboration with actor and musician Jay Chou, ambassador for TUDOR’s Born To Dare campaign.

Guests were given the opportunity to experience the 1926 Luna firsthand, discovering its three distinctive expressions each presented in a 39mm polished steel case with a domed sapphire crystal and a polished and satin-brushed seven-link steel bracelet, a signature of the 1926 collection. The black dial offered a restrained, quietly classic aesthetic, while the blue dial presented a modern, versatile look with sharply defined details. The champagne dial, co-created with Jay Chou, stood out with a phantom moonlight gold disc that elegantly traced the lunar cycle.
Beneath their refined surfaces, all three models are powered by the chronometer-grade Swiss self-winding mechanical Calibre T607-9, a movement that anchors the Luna in TUDOR’s reputation for precision and durability. With 100 metres of waterproofness, the watch combines technical confidence with everyday practicality, allowing the artistry of its moon phase complication to shine without compromise.
The Luna joins the 1926 collection, named for the year Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf first registered “The TUDOR.” That heritage of discreet elegance makes the line a fitting foundation for the brand’s first lunar exploration. The Jay Chou edition, with its champagne dial and gold moon disc, adds a layer of artistry bridging modern creativity with a symbol as old as timekeeping itself.
For those in attendance, the evening wasn’t just a single celebration, it was an opportunity to connect with the craft, culture, and community, paralleling the Mid-Autumn Festival’s tradition of gathering under the moon.
The TUDOR 1926 Luna is now available at TUDOR Boutique Global Watch Company. We welcome you to experience the collection and see how TUDOR has introduced a new dimension to its legacy, marked not just by timekeeping, but by the quiet rhythm of the moon itself.
