On Sunday, February 23, following an incredible week hosting the All Blacks Sevens and Black Ferns Sevens captain Sarah Hirini at our TUDOR Boutique GWC, members of our boutique team, friends, and clients had the opportunity to experience the thrill of the Vancouver Sevens Series final firsthand.

﻿What is the Vancouver Sevens?﻿﻿﻿﻿﻿

Part of the World Rugby SVNS Series, the Vancouver Sevens is an electrifying tournament featuring the world’s top rugby sevens teams. Unlike traditional rugby, sevens is a fast-paced format with just seven players per team, playing seven-minute halves—a high-intensity spectacle where speed, strategy, and endurance are pushed to the limit.

This year’s competition brought together elite teams from across the globe, all vying for the championship title in front of an energetic crowd at BC Place Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Black Ferns Sevens continued their dominance, securing their seventh consecutive Vancouver Sevens title with an emphatic 41-7 victory over Fiji, proving once again why they are one of the most formidable forces in women’s rugby
